In the 60's, the
seeds of Out of the Blue were first sown in the Detroit - Windsor
area. When veteran, Blues-R&B lead singer Sheldon McCurdy
decided to move West in 1995, he joined forces with , bassist
Norm Piercy, horn player Brent Hutchinson (sax) , lead guitarist
Jim Ryan and drummer Linden Northcott.
R&B Classics/Classic Originals,
a featured band on the 1999 Rocktoria CD.
This band can do it all, from mellow or funky, to up tempo songs
like "Come on Along" and "Have some Fun".
From "Out of the Blue" you can expect some great vocals
and a solid sound by the entire band.
Five seasoned musicians
and vocalists, whose sound instantly gains respect, deliver great
multi-flavored Rockin' Rhythm 'n' Blues. They select their repertoire
with the widest audience in mind and with excellent musicianship
interpret classics and originals with outstanding arrangements.
Thirty years of
developing, honing and focusing and
